What a landing page that converts needs
September 18, 2026. 4 minute read.
A landing page has one job: get the person to do one thing, whether that's writing to you, buying or booking a call. Anything that doesn't help with that is extra.
A clear promise at the top
On the first screen it should be clear what you offer, who it's for and what happens after clicking. If people have to scroll to find out, you've already lost some of them.
A single path
One main button, repeated where the person is already convinced. Long menus and links to other pages distract from the action you want.
Proof that can be verified
Real cases, results with context and reviews with a name and role. Generic phrases like “quality and commitment” convince no one.
Speed and mobile
- Many visits come from a phone: the page has to read and work well there.
- A slow page loses visitors before showing anything.
- Buttons should be large and easy to tap with a thumb.
Measure and adjust
Without analytics you don't know what to fix. Define from the start what counts as success (a message, a booking, a purchase) and review the numbers every month.
